Mission diver FF St. Veit an der Glan

On May 29th, at the request of the diving officer Wolfgang Hinteregger, a lecture for divers took place in the equipment house of the volunteer fire brigade in St. Veit an der Glan. Our EOBV diving instructors Stefan Arnesch and Stefan Haslwanter (police disposal service) presented the structure of the EOBV and the CEDIP as well as the legal structures behind the diving backdrop and clarified the topic of “explosives in water”. Content was the historical background, the correct behavior towards explosives and the dangers that can arise. In the course of the lecture, various items of diving equipment such as full mask, band mask, diving helmet, surface, etc. could be inspected.

On June 1st, it was time for a couple of divers from the FF St. Veit an der Glan to go into the water. Our diving instructor Stefan Arnesch offered the rescue divers an insight into the professional diving level. Full face masks with communication equipment as well as band masks and diving helmets with a complete surface could be tried out in the Längsee.

We thank you for the good and professional cooperation, as well as the fire brigade diving service Burgenland for providing various pieces of equipment.
